WikiEvents is a community-driven platform built to help people discover and manage all kinds of events across Australia — from small-town rodeos and picnic races to music festivals, farmers' markets, and local pub quizzes. Whether an event is run by a major promoter or simply shared by a neighbour down the road, WikiEvents brings it together in one easy-to-search place so nothing gets missed.
The app is designed for travellers exploring new towns who don't want to miss out on the experiences happening around them, locals looking for things to do in their own backyard, and event organisers who need a simple way to list, promote, and manage their events to a ready-made audience of engaged attendees.
WikiEvents is built and maintained by WikiEvents Australia Pty Ltd — a small, passionate team of travellers and creators who started the platform after repeatedly missing out on local events simply because there was no single place to find them. The team continues to grow WikiEvents with input from the community, ensuring real people help surface the events that matter.
